Stain Grade Wood Interior Doors

A stained door is where a substitute shows on an interior door order. Grain, species, and the way a finish sits on it are what the homeowner is paying for.

Rogue Valley Door builds our interior wood doors to order in mahogany, white oak, walnut, fir, knotty alder, cherry, maple and more. Species, panel layout, glass, and size are specified per opening, which is why this line handles the openings a standard door will not fit. Prehung in Monroe before it ships.

Questions we get

What dealers ask us.

Usually. Send photos, a couple of measurements, and a profile of the existing stile and panel, and our shop will tell you whether it is a match or a close approximation.

It is built to order, so it is longer than the molded line. Your rep will give you a real date before you promise one.

It ships unfinished, raw for a finisher who is already on the job. Fir also comes primed if the room is getting paint.

Ask before you guess. Species drives both price and look more than anything else on the order, and it is the one thing a homeowner will notice against a cabinet or a floor.

Yes. Nothing about the line requires an odd size. It is just a more expensive way to fill a standard opening, which is why most houses use it selectively.
