Tucker Door & Trim supplies dealers, lumberyards, and building supply distributors with doors, windows, and specialty millwork. Our in-house machining and prehanging services give you assembled door units prepared to your order specifications.

From stock products to custom door packages, our team helps with product selection, quotes, ordering, and delivery. We sell through our dealer partners and support the customer relationships you’ve built. You get access to a broad product selection, skilled shop teams, and people who understand your business.

The story

1967 Tucker Door is founded in Tucker, Georgia.
1968 Watkins Associated Industries (WAI) acquires Tucker Door & Trim.
1972 Marion Harris becomes CEO of Tucker Door.
1999 Tucker Door relocates from Tucker, Georgia, to a new 145,000-square-foot facility in Monroe, Georgia.
2003 The Monroe warehouse is expanded to 260,000 square feet. Tucker Door also broadens its presence in the South by opening a 45,000-square-foot facility in Albany, Georgia.
2007 During the housing market downturn, Tucker Door expands its service territory by adding delivery routes and overnight runs into North and South Carolina as well as Tennessee.
2009 Tucker Door establishes a custom millwork shop to produce high-end custom doors and serve the historic restoration market. The shop also supplies components for the company's exterior and interior door operations.
2011 With leadership from Lee Allen and Barry Williams, Tucker Door begins manufacturing its own windows, introducing wood, PVC, and vinyl product lines.
2016 Albany relocated from its original 45,000-square-foot facility to a new 72,000-square-foot location, increasing operational space and the number of available dock doors.
2021 The CPQ (Configure Price Quote) tool is launched, providing customers with real-time quoting capabilities and receiving annual enhancements to improve the customer experience.
2023 Tucker Door introduces the 3300 Series, a fully vinyl, maintenance-free double-hung window program.
2024 Tucker Door opens its Richmond facility in March with 97,000 square-feet, extending its reach further into the Mid-Atlantic region.
2026 Tucker Door breaks ground on a 107,000-square-foot expansion of the Monroe facility to support continued growth and investment in new technologies. When completed the new facility will be 372,000 square feet.

The facilities

We have a 260K square foot facility in Monroe, with another 100K square foot building under construction. Machining, prehanging, glass, and staging all happen under this roof, then load out the doors on the right.

Our sales, shop, warehouse, and delivery teams work together to support your business. We machine and prehang door units to your specifications, check completed work, and prepare orders for delivery. Your Tucker team is available for product questions, order updates, and service support.

How long has Tucker been in business?

Since 1967. Fifty-nine years of doors, windows, and millwork, now shipping from Monroe GA, Richmond VA, and Albany GA.

Does Tucker sell direct to homeowners?

No. Tucker is a two-step distributor. We sell through dealers, lumberyards, and distributors, and the dealer locator will point you to one near you.

Where does Tucker deliver?

Our own tractor trailers and box trucks run regular routes across the Southeast and into the Mid-Atlantic.

Can I tour the plant?

Dealers can. Ask your rep and we will set it up.
