MiraVista is a kit of components, not a proprietary door. It turns standard 1-3/4 in. fiberglass panels into a folding system, so the panels come from the same lines we already prehang.
- Bottom gliding track carries the panel weight, so it needs no more top support than a sliding door. That makes it work for remodels and retrofits as well as new construction.
- No routing or modification of the panels.
- Knuckles adjust up, down, and side to side, so an out-of-square rough opening can still be set plumb.
- Up to three 3/0 panels, 115 in. maximum sill length, 6/8 or 8/0 height, with 5-5/8 in. or 7-5/8 in. sill widths.
- Track, casing, and hinge bars in white or black; sill caps in walnut or black; sill decks in mill or bronze.
- Up to DP75 structural and DP20 water on a three-panel system with Masonite VistaGrande panels, tested to ASTM standards.
One oversized slab, no visible hinges.
A pivot door turns on a hardware set at the head and the floor, not side hinges, which lets a single slab run wide and tall without sagging. It is the entry people notice.
- The pivot set carries the slab, so the jamb is not doing the work. Slab thickness and weight drive the hardware choice.
- The floor point has to be located and blocked before finish flooring goes in, the same discipline a barn door track needs.
- Handing works differently: tell us which way it swings and where the pivot sits off the jamb, not just left or right.
When the opening is not standard.
Barn doors on exposed hardware, pocket doors, bypass doors, and interior bifolds. If the opening is odd, historic, or just not in anyone's catalog, our shop mills it to your drawing.
